Chairperson and Board Member of Gauteng Tourism Authority, Mdm. Nomusa Mufamadi talks about her inspirational journey with European Wellness and her sincere gratitude.

She considers their amazing development while she helps her husband through his health challenges.

Mdm. Nomusa, a highly-skilled accountant who was born in Soweto, South Africa, has been a constant source of support for her husband, who has been facing chronic ailments such as severe visual impairment and diabetes.

“It was really difficult at first. We were shattered and couldn’t believe we had to live with this condition, “ she remembers.

When a friend told them about stem cell treatment, their journey took a positive turn, “We believed in what the doctors were saying and decided to find our way to work around it,” Mdm. Nomusa explains.

They both set out on a road to recovery with tenacity and sympathetic treatment from European Wellness.

“When we came here for the first time, I was taught how to administer eye drops and tablets,” she recalls.

Although it was unsettling, she tells herself, “It was scary, but I told myself we really want to see results, and I did it.”

Despite its gradual progress, the advances were substantial.

β€œHe began to see colours. That boosted our confidence. Even a little improvement is very important. We are confident that he will be okay one day, “ she shares with a smile.

Both Mdm. Nomusa’s commitment and her husband’s tenacity serve as examples of their strength, “We can’t fly all the way here for the second time if we did not see some improvement. We are confident it will improve even more,” she asserts.

Their story aims to inspire hope in others in addition to promoting personal recovery.
