KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 29, 2025 – Science met style at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur as Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mike Chan, a global leader in regenerative medicine, was honoured during the Couture Fashion Week Malaysia 2025 gala.
The internationally acclaimed event, known for celebrating haute couture and cultural diplomacy, drew over 500 VIP guests, including ambassadors, celebrities, fashion designers, and royalty from over 36 countries.

Prof. Chan, founder of European Wellness Biomedical Group, received a Top Contributor Award for his pioneering work in the wellness industry. Speaking at the event, Executive Director Ziinine A. Britshi praised his achievements:
“Dr. Mike is a great guy. He’s really doing great in the wellness industry—a problem solver, especially in anti-aging and regenerative medicine. The impact of his work speaks volumes.”
The night featured dazzling runway shows, multicultural performances, and an exclusive sit-down gala dinner. Amidst the glamour, Prof. Chan’s booth showcasing his 60 medical books captivated attendees.
One guest was left speechless after learning of the sheer volume of publications:“Sixty books? That’s unbelievable,” he said. “This should be in every library.”
The highlight came when YAM Tengku Sulaiman Shah Alhaj, brother of the Sultan of Selangor, received two of Prof. Chan’s books personally.
The books—“Stem Cells in Regenerative Medicine: Carpe Diem – Carpe Vitam!” and “Handbook on Longevity Medicine: The Road Map,” highlight Prof. Chan’s work in anti-aging and health science.
Visibly impressed, the royal noted his intent to add them to his private collection. It was a meaningful exchange that brought together science, knowledge, and royal appreciation.
Mr. World Malaysia, Joshua Benedict, who was the emcee for the night, and also as a NeuClinic ambassador, said: “It’s an honour to finally meet Prof. Mike Chan. I’ve heard so much about him—he’s a trailblazer in stem cell research.”

Mubarak Saeed Ahmed Burshaid Aldhaheri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Malaysia; whom he had personally invited for the event.
The other VIPs present include: Puan Rosnani Mohd Rosdi, Deputy Director I of MARA; Datin Norazizah Borhan, President of the Institute for Women’s Empowerment (IWEM); Ms. Suraya Godwinson, Associate Director of Couture Fashion Week Malaysia; and Ziinine A. Britshi, the event’s Executive Producer.
This inspiring prelude of exchange and camaraderie set the tone for a grand evening that celebrated global fashion, diplomacy, and innovation.
The CFWM 2025 event, supported by Tourism Malaysia, marked a unique fusion of fashion, science, and diplomacy. Among the mesmerising moments was a multicultural fashion parade featuring traditional and modern designs from Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Swiss-born health advocate Ruth Geiser, now based in Penang, who attended the gala for the first time, shared her heartfelt appreciation after meeting Prof. Mike Chan. “I had only heard about his work tonight,” she said. “Now that I’ve met him and learned more about his mission, I’m truly inspired. I hope we can collaborate in the future to bring healing and support to more women in Penang.”
Organised in collaboration with the Oriental Fashion Show Paris, Japan Women’s Collection, and Tokyo Couture Fashion Week, the event strengthened Malaysia’s status as a global hub for creative excellence and cross-cultural dialogue.
