Prof. Mike Chan Highlights Precision Medicine and Regenerative Science at SEMAL 2026
MADRID, Spain — Prof. Dato Sri Dr. Mike Chan, Chairman of European Wellness, was among the featured speakers at the 24th International Congress of Anti-Aging Medicine, Longevity and Medical Aesthetics (SEMAL) in Madrid, October 1–3, 2026. His involvement included a scheduled pre-congress workshop and two main-congress lectures, connecting regenerative science with clinical protocol design, complex disease management, and medical aesthetics.
European Wellness Biomedical Group was recognized among the congress’s collaborating companies, extending its involvement beyond the scientific sessions to support the broader event.
Promoted as featuring more than 80 international speakers, SEMAL 2026 offered a multidisciplinary setting for discussions on aging research, advanced diagnostics, and approaches to longevity care, with two conference rooms at Hotel NH Madrid Ventas.
From Regenerative Science to Clinical Protocols

The opening pre-congress workshop on October 1 was scheduled for Prof. Mike Chan and Dra. Paula Prado at the Official College of Physicians of Madrid. Titled “Advanced Regenerative Medicine: Understanding the Regenerative Ecosystem and Designing Clinical Protocols for Longevity,” the two-hour session focused on connecting regenerative science with clinical protocol development.
Its emphasis on protocol design gave European Wellness’s contribution a practical focus, moving beyond the study of regeneration to consider how that understanding can inform approaches to longevity care.
The topic built on themes from Prof. Mike Chan’s participation in SEMAL 2025, when his lectures explored precision regenerative medicine and bio-regenerative approaches to autoimmune disease, gut health, and the eyes.
Precision Functional Medicine Within the Longevity Agenda

Prof. Mike Chan’s precision functional medicine lecture was scheduled for 6:50 p.m. on October 2 in the Anti-Aging Room. It focused on managing complex and untreatable diseases within the session “From Advanced Diagnosis to Innovative Treatment,” moderated by Dr. Miguel Martínez del Campo.
The same session included Brian Kennedy on translating aging research into human trials and Darío Acuña on melatonin pharmacology in relation to oxidative stress. Simultaneous English–Spanish interpretation and a concluding debate were scheduled to support discussion among the international audience.
Other congress topics included healthy lifespan, the hallmarks of aging, and targets for reprogramming human aging, with contributions scheduled from Steven Austad, Guido Kroemer, and Michael West. These subjects connected the clinical discussions with the broader science of longevity.
Stem Cells, Exosomes, and Skin Longevity

On October 3, Prof. Mike Chan’s second main-congress lecture was scheduled for 11:30 a.m.: “How Stem Cells, Exosomes & Peptides Are Shaping the Future of Health and Beauty.” It was part of the “Exosomes and Stem Cells” session in the Aesthetic Room, moderated by Dra. Sheila Mota and Dr. José Manuel Fernández.
Access to the Aesthetic Room was restricted to physicians, placing the session in a medical rather than a general consumer setting. Its topic complemented the congress’s broader focus on regenerative approaches in aesthetics.
Dra. Paula Prado also had a separate lecture scheduled for 4:15 p.m., “Skin Longevity: Exosomes, Peptides and Cellular Communication in Regenerative Aesthetics.” Part of the “Current Developments in Skin Care” session, it added another contribution alongside her joint pre-congress workshop with Prof. Mike Chan.
A Visible Congress Presence

European Wellness’s exhibition presence at Booth 24 featured EW, MF Plus, MF3, and FCTI. Dedicated time for visits to the exhibit area created opportunities for attendees to engage with participating companies alongside the scientific sessions.
Many attendees gathered around Prof. Mike Chan after his lectures to continue the conversation beyond the lecture hall. That engagement continued at the European Wellness booth, where attendees explored its offerings while speaking directly with Prof. Mike Chan. These interactions added a personal dimension to the congress, connecting the scientific discussions with opportunities for further exchange.
Attendees also shared numerous testimonials about Prof. Mike Chan’s lectures and their experiences meeting him in person. These personal reflections complemented the scientific discussions and the face-to-face exchanges at the European Wellness booth.
Together, European Wellness’s collaborator recognition, branded workshop, and scientific contributions reflected an involvement extending beyond a single lecture. Prof. Mike Chan’s participation connected the group’s focus on regenerative medicine with the congress’s broader discussion of longevity and clinical care.
