Renowned Stem Cell Scientist Prof. Dr. Mike Chan Shares Insights on Bernama Radio
KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 11, 2024) – Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mike Chan, a distinguished scientist, Chairman and Founder of the European Wellness Biomedical Group (EWBG), made a significant appearance on Bernama Radio today. The event, held at Wisma Bernama, Jalan Tun Razak, marked a new chapter for EWBG following the grand opening of their Premier Center in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, on August 22, 2024.
The session began with an insightful conversation with Gerard Ratnam, an executive producer at Bernama TV. During this dialogue, Prof. Chan addressed several crucial points about stem cell therapy, emphasizing,
We don’t claim to cure. There is no universal cure, as everyone is different.
He expressed concern about the misuse of stem cell terminology in the industry, noting,
Many practitioners are using the word ‘stem cell’ but not following the right protocols and procedures, especially with consumables.
Drawing from his extensive travel experiences, Prof. Chan shared insights on using stem cell technology to stimulate hair growth and assist patients with end-stage kidney failure. “As long as there are dying cells, there’s potential for restoration,” he explained.
Prof. Chan also touched on his academic contributions, mentioning his authored books on longevity and autism that serve as reference handbooks for doctors. He noted his role as one of the few Asian doctors appointed as an editor in his field of expertise.
Discussing his international consultations, Prof. Chan revealed that he travels widely to meet clients overseas.
This conversation was followed by a studio interview on the show “Temu Bual” (English Edition) hosted by Hanie Hamid. The interview, which aired at 5.30pm, covered various topics, including the future of regenerative medicine and lifestyle changes to enhance healthy living.
Throughout both segments, Prof. Chan discussed the benefits of stem cell solutions, debunking misleading claims made by dubious establishments. He emphasized the importance of credible research, backed by experience from reputable stem cell scientists around the world in the European Wellness community.
Bernama Radio, part of Malaysia’s national news agency, served as a platform for this health and current affairs discussion, reaching a broad audience across the nation.
Prof. Chan‘s appearance marks a new chapter for the European Wellness Biomedical Group, as public interest in anti-aging and longevity solutions continues to grow worldwide.
