PRECISION IS THE KEY: Prof. Mike Chan’s game-changing insights at the Bangkok Anti-Aging Congress

BANGKOK, Thailand (November 22, 2024) – Leading regenerative medicine expert Professor Mike Chan delivered a groundbreaking presentation on targeted organ regeneration at the Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress Southeast Asia (AMWC SEA) 2024, highlighting the critical importance of precision in stem cell therapy.

Speaking to a packed audience at Bangkok’s Intercontinental Convention Centre, Prof. Chan, co-author of over 50 medical and scientific books, emphasized the complexity of cellular regeneration. “There are 400 different types of stem cells and peptides for targeted organs,” Chan explained. “For liver regeneration alone, we’re dealing with 75 different types of stem cells, while the brain has 52 lobes and 67 different types of brain cells.”

The presentation, titled “Stem Cells, Peptides & Exosomes: What Works Better,” addressed the urgent need for age-related cellular regeneration. Chan revealed startling statistics about stem cell depletion: “By age 18, only 45 percent of stem cells remain. This drops to 25 percent by age 30, and merely 5 percent by age 60.”

Chan’s expertise stems from extensive clinical experience and research, including his contribution to the world’s first stem cell book for medical doctors in 2006. His next book, published 13 years later, has become one of Amazon’s bestselling stem cell publications.

The impact of Chan’s presentation was immediate and significant. Dr. Valerie F. Civelli, an attending physician, called the session “absolutely phenomenal” and expressed enthusiasm about implementing the knowledge gained. “I can’t even tell you the number of lives we are going to change,” Civelli remarked after the presentation.

The AMWC SEA 2024, running from November 21-23, has drawn leading practitioners in aesthetic and regenerative medicine from across Southeast Asia. The congress serves as a crucial platform for sharing advanced therapeutic techniques and the latest developments in anti-aging medicine.

Chan’s presentation particularly resonated with medical professionals seeking to understand the precise application of regenerative therapies. “What I am saying is that there must be precision in how you treat the patient, whether you’re using stem cells, peptides, or exosomes,” Chan emphasized during his talk.

The congress continues through November 23, featuring additional sessions on aesthetic medicine and anti-aging treatments, with a particular focus on practical applications for medical practitioners in the Southeast Asian region.
