Malaysian Scientist Draws Attention at Las Vegas Longevity Conference

LAS VEGAS, Dec 15 — A Malaysian scientist attracted strong interest at a major international longevity conference in Las Vegas this week after presenting new perspectives on regenerative medicine and precision healthcare.

Prof. Dr. Mike Chan was among speakers at the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine’s LongevityFest 2025, a three-day event held at The Venetian and Palazzo Resort that drew physicians and researchers from around the world.

The conference focused on developments in longevity science, including regenerative medicine, stem-cell research, immune modulation and disease prevention. Chan’s presentation examined stem-cell regeneration within a systems-based medical framework and its potential role in long-term health management.

Although scheduled late on the final day of the conference, Chan’s 45-minute session drew a full audience. Attendees remained after the lecture to ask questions, exchange contact details and request photographs, despite another session already under way.

Chan also spent time on the exhibition floor, where European Wellness Biomedical Group hosted a booth that drew steady traffic. Delegates discussed clinical applications of regenerative medicine, emerging research and longevity-focused treatment approaches.

Organisers described LongevityFest as the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine’s flagship annual conference, designed to link research with clinical practice. More than 200 sessions and hundreds of exhibitors were featured during the event.

As the conference ended on Sunday, organisers said interest in regenerative and precision-based medicine continued to grow, with clinicians increasingly exploring approaches aimed at disease prevention and healthy ageing.
