Prof. Mike Chan Receives Warm Praise and Global Camaraderie at SEMAL 2025

MADRID, Spain (Oct 4, 2025) — Science met friendship and admiration at this year’s XXIII International Congress on Anti-Aging and Longevity (SEMAL) in Madrid, where Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mike Chan, founder of the European Wellness Biomedical Group, was greeted with standing applause, heartfelt words, and genuine respect from peers across continents.
Despite being allotted less than half an hour, Prof. Chan’s lecture, “Transformative Precision in Regenerative Medicine for Untreatable Diseases, Longevity and Age Reversal” left a lasting impression on the international audience of doctors and researchers.
Before he even began, the moderator Dr José Cordeiro smiled warmly and teased,
“I want to welcome you and warn you, you only have 15 minutes! He has so much information and energy… but don’t worry, he’ll be here again tomorrow. Prof. Mike Chan — one of the best doctors in the world!”
The room erupted in laughter, before Prof. Mike Chan spoke passionately about the science of longevity and the cellular pathways of aging. Many participants later admitted they wished his time on stage had been longer.
Among those most inspired was Dr. José Ebram Filho, a Brazilian physician specializing in wellness and longevity, who leads the Instituto Ebram de Saúde (IES) in São Paulo. Taking a selfie video in front of the European Wellness booth, Dr. Ebram recorded an impromptu message saying:
“We’re here at the International Congress on Anti-Aging and Longevity… and I want to highlight Prof. Mike Chan — he’s very famous in Europe and Asia, with many books on genetics and peptide therapy. His work in regenerative medicine is extraordinary. These peptide therapies boost immunity, energy, cell regeneration, and slow aging. The future has arrived.”
His words captured the mood shared by many throughout the congress — a sense of gratitude toward a professor who not only speaks about healing but embodies the spirit of collaboration.
“Super interesting! A shame that you didn’t have more time,” said Dr. Sigrid Andora of the Andora Center.
“I loved your two lectures, indeed! Definitely, we have to give you more time — everybody says so,” added Prof. Manuel Castillo of the University of Granada.
Dra. Yessica Corrales, one of SEMAL’s organizers, later wrote:
“I’m sure your lectures were excellent! Time always flies when the subject is exciting.”
And from Finland, Dr. Marlanne added a simple, heartfelt note:
“Dear Dr. Chan, your conferences were very interesting — I’m learning a lot!”
For Prof. Chan, the response was humbling.
“What matters most is about sharing knowledge that helps people live longer, healthier lives.”
Beyond the lecture hall, friendships flourished. Delegates gathered around the European Wellness booth exchanging stories, signing books, taking photos, and sharing research ideas that transcended borders. The warmth of those moments reflected something larger: a shared mission to advance regenerative medicine with both science and heart.
A Congress Marked by Science — and Humanity
Beyond the scientific acclaim, colleagues described Prof. Chan as approachable, generous, and deeply inspiring. Many noted how he took time to speak with attendees, sign books, and share his insights personally.
One attendee summarized the mood:
“He deserves more time—he’s way ahead of everyone in his field.”
As SEMAL 2025 came to a close, participants reflected on days filled with exchange, discovery, and shared learning, with Prof. Mike Chan’s contributions standing out for their scientific depth and spirit of collaboration.

“Your lecture was super interesting — it’s a pity you didn’t have more time,” said Dr. Sigrid Tolrrabo Oerez of the Andora Center after attending Prof. Mike Chan’s session.

Global Voices, Shared Inspiration – “It is very, very interesting. I found them impressive. It is nice to meet you in person. Thank you so much for your generosity,” a heartfelt statement from Dr. Lala A. Asiva, capturing the excitement and curiosity that defined SEMAL 2025.

Conversations that Inspire – Prof. Mike Chan with Prof. Dr. Manuel Castillo, Professor of Physiology at the University of Granada, commented after the session:
“I loved your two lectures, indeed! We definitely have to give you more time—everybody says so!”
Castillo, who is also the ex-president of SEMAL, added this in his own words: “Prof. Mike Chan and European Wellness therapies and products are at least 10 to 15 years ahead of what’s in the market.”

Curiosity and Enthusiasm from Around the World – Delegates from Latin America to Europe were quick to connect with Prof. Chan after his talk, many eager to learn more about his cellular and peptide-based innovations.
Smiles, selfies, and quick chats filled the hallways between sessions, turning a scientific congress into a celebration of friendship and collaboration.
