Prof. Mike Chan Unveils New Book on Autism at AMWC Japan, Discusses Bio-Regenerative Medicines Ties with Japan
TOKYO, Japan (Nov 9, 2024) — At a press conference launching his new book on autism, Professor Dato’ Sri Mike Chan, a pioneer in regenerative medicine and chairman of European Wellness Biomedical Group, highlighted his long-standing connection with Japan’s medical community and shared insights into his global initiatives in bio-regenerative therapies.
Speaking to a gathering of media and medical professionals, Prof. Chan reflected on his journey in the field. “Many Japanese clients have sought treatment in Malaysia, where we are government-approved to treat patients with advanced bio-regenerative techniques,” he stated, adding that his organization operates 46 centers globally, spanning Santorini, Germany, Athens, and multiple locations across Asia. “In Malaysia, we not only provide treatments but also run an academy to train doctors in bio-regenerative medicine. Many Japanese doctors regularly refer their clients to us and have seen firsthand the advancements we offer,” he continued.
Prof. Chan, who introduced exosome therapy to the world in the early 1990s, emphasized his commitment to enhancing Japan’s bio-regenerative landscape. “One of my missions is to establish a center here in Japan,” he shared. “There are countless Japanese doctors who have visited Malaysia, and they understand the quality of care we provide.”
At the launch of his new book, Autism Spectrum Disorder: Integrative Approach, Prof. Chan shared his extensive experience and groundbreaking work in cellular therapy. Since the 1980s, he has helped advance regenerative medicine across Europe and Asia, particularly in anti-aging and stem-cell therapy. Prof. Chan leads one of the world’s largest bio-molecular research teams, based in Switzerland and Germany, with a presence in nearly 80 countries.
This book, co-authored with Dr. Dina Tulina—a specialist in neuropsychiatry and anti-aging—offers practical guidance for parents and medical professionals. It covers essential topics like recognizing autism symptoms, and understanding the impact on families, and includes a simple checklist to spot early signs of autism in toddlers. There’s also detailed information on autism’s causes, prevalence, and related conditions like Asperger’s Syndrome.
Prof. Chan explained that Autism Spectrum Disorder: Integrative Approach combines holistic methods, from natural therapies to advanced biologics, to help improve the lives of those with autism. His goal, as shown through this book, is to empower caregivers and professionals with tools to support people with autism, helping them connect and thrive.
This book reflects Prof. Chan’s lifelong mission to bring positive change in health and patient care worldwide. He spoke passionately about how autism, far from being an “illness,” is a unique state of mind, requiring patience, routine, and a collaborative approach between families and professionals to make substantial improvements in an individual’s quality of life. The launch resonated with many, as Prof. Chan conveyed that Autism Spectrum Disorder: Integrative Approach is intended to guide families and medical staff toward impactful, life-changing results for those on the autism spectrum.
The book launch event also featured Keiko Kimura, a notable contributor to AMWC Japan and a key figure at Sun Synergy, known for her work in wellness initiatives and sustainable energy. While Kimura’s projects span various facets of medical wellness and sustainable energy, her presence underscored AMWC Japan’s collaborative spirit in advancing medical and wellness standards in Asia.
Meanwhile, Dr. George Titovets MD, Ph.D., a minimally invasive aesthetic medicine specialist, and a renowned authority on APTOS thread lifting, praised Prof. Chan’s talk during the conference on Nov 10.
He said: “The presentation was really interesting, and everything was clearly laid out,” Titovets added that he hopes Prof. Chan will also bring his global projects to Great Britain so his biomedical innovations can reach more people around the world.
Prof. Chan’s book launch and his continued collaboration with Japanese doctors reflect his commitment to developing innovative therapies, with plans for future projects aimed at further uniting the global regenerative medicine community.
