BANGKOK – Global Experts Praise Prof. Mike Chan’s Breakthroughs in Regenerative Medicine at “We Are The World” Summit
BANGKOK, Thailand (Nov 9-11, 2025), Distinguished figures from the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, China and Malaysia offered strong endorsements of Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mike Chan’s work in regenerative medicine during the We Are The World Global Summit 2025, where the veteran scientist delivered multiple sessions on longevity, cellular therapy and disease reversal.
The testimonials came as delegates visited the European Wellness booth and attended Prof. Chan’s lectures, which were among the summit’s most heavily attended events. On the final night, Prof. Chan was also honoured with an Outstanding Achievement Award in Regenerative Medicine at the gala dinner, recognizing his 40 years of contributions to global stem-cell research, clinical innovation and international medical collaboration.
Chicago Delegate: Legacy Tied to Alzheimer’s Research
Joshua Stone, a Chicago-based attendee whose great uncle founded the Alzheimer’s Association, said Prof. Chan’s lecture stood out for its clarity and scientific depth.
“Everything he said unfolded into something else… It was very stimulating. A fascinating lecture,” Stone said.
“With my family background in Alzheimer’s work, I’m deeply interested in anything that advances the search for a cure.”
Filmmaker From Canada: “I Learned More in One Day Than in 12 Years”
Canadian producer and director Anthony Fulker, known for the Lazarus Health Project documentary series, said Prof. Chan’s session renewed his confidence in high-level regenerative research.
“I was very impressed and inspired to go further into the field of stem cells,” he said.
“I’ve been working in this field for many years, but I learned as much yesterday as I have in the previous 12 years.”
“People like Professor Chan are doing profound research. They’re going deep enough to show hard science and help move the needle in the mainstream.”
Indonesian Delegate: “Captivated by His Eloquence and Competence”
Husein, an attendee from Jakarta with an interest in anti-aging and regenerative therapies, said he had no prior knowledge of Prof. Chan’s work.
“I was captivated by his eloquence and his competence in stem cell science. I’m really impressed,” he said, adding that he purchased Prof. Chan’s books and hopes to seek treatment in the future.
Hong Kong Professional: “A1 Must Treat A1, True Precision Medicine”
Hong Kong attendee Ines Lam praised Prof. Chan’s emphasis on organ-specific and condition-specific cellular therapy.
“What’s different about Dr. Chan’s lecture is his explanation of pairing A1 with A1, the exact cells for the exact condition,” she said.
“His books are very technical, very comprehensive, and very applicational. My biggest takeaway is that the body can heal itself when you apply the right cells to the right targets.”
Industry Visits: Chinese Oncology Leader Joins Discussion
Renowned cryotherapy and oncology expert Prof. Kecheng Xu, President of Fuda Cancer Hospital in Guangzhou, visited European Wellness booth during the summit. Xu, a recipient of the Bethune Medal and a leading figure in integrated Western-Chinese cancer treatment, exchanged views on stem cell applications, Parkinson’s therapy, and novel regenerative approaches. At the booth, Prof. Xu reviewed materials on neural stem cell therapy and expressing strong interest in the regenerative approaches presented.
Dr. Adrian Cheng: Health and Innovation Converge
Hong Kong cultural entrepreneur and ALMAD/C Capital founder Dr. Adrian Cheng, a young billionaire known for his investments in biotechnology and wellness innovation, met Prof. Chan at the main hall, and also at the gala dinner, acknowledging the alignment between technology-driven healthcare and Prof. Mike Chan’s next-generation regenerative medicine.
During their meeting on the first day, Prof Chan said: “My job is to make everyone younger, healthier.” Dr. Cheng responded with enthusiasm and showed keenness to explore Prof. Chan’s pioneering work in wellness and stem cells.
Regulatory Perspective: Senior Former FDA Expert Weighs In
Dr. Michael Yao, a former senior medical officer at the U.S. FDA and a contributor to American regulatory frameworks for cell and gene therapy, said Prof. Chan’s work aligns with global scientific shifts.
“Longevity medicine requires new regulatory endpoints and multi-system approaches,” Yao said.
“Prof. Chan’s concept of mitochondrial and multi-organ rejuvenation is very important.”
China-Based Sleep Medicine Expert Deepens Discussion
Dr. Paul Rochon, director of a major Sleep Medicine Centre in China, explored the link between sleep health, cellular degeneration and longevity, noting the relevance of Prof. Chan’s findings to chronic disease management.
“Thank you, Professor Mike, for bringing all this knowledge together,” he said, while Prof Mike Chan replied: “Education is the key, and we learn from each other.”
Wealth Innovator Jason Sze: “Education Is the Key”
Jason Sze, CEO of A.J. Mason Family Office, remarked on the importance of translating complex regenerative science into accessible education.
“Education is key. The field is multifactorial, and Prof. Chan brings crucial insights to longevity medicine.”
Award Recognition at Gala Dinner
At the closing gala dinner, Prof. Chan received the Outstanding Achievement Award in Promoting Regenerative Medicine, honouring his 40 years of clinical and scientific work, including:
- Founding the world’s first international stem cell association
- Overseeing over 40 medical wellness institutions globally
