Gulf Envoys Tour European Wellness: Interest in Regenerative Medicine Grows as Autism and Chronic Illness Surge in Middle East

UAE, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain ambassadors make private visit after UAE National Day event, as Prof. Mike Chan highlights urgent need for healthspan and lifespan extension through cellspan therapies
KUALA LUMPUR, November 27, 2025 — A group of senior Gulf envoys made an official visit to the European Wellness (EW) Mont’Kiara Center on Thursday, following an exclusive VIP invitation with EW Chairman Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mike Chan during the UAE’s 54th Independence Day celebration in Kuala Lumpur.
The ambassadors attended were:
- United Arab Emirates (UAE): H.E. Dr. Mubarak Saeed Ahmed Burshaidi AlDhaheri
- Kuwait: H.E. Rashed Mohammed Al-Saleh
- Oman: H.E. Sheikh Al-Abbas Ibrahim Hamed AlHarthi
- Bahrain: H.E. Dr. Waleed Khalifa Al-Manea
The private tour was undertaken at the envoys’ own initiative, with no official representation or spokespersons from the respective embassies.
A Private Tour Through a Cutting-Edge Regenerative Medicine Facility
During the visit, Prof. Mike Chan briefed the ambassadors on the systems and clinical protocols that will operate at EW’s newest flagship center, which houses top-notch European age reversal, fitness, and health enhancement devices and protocols:
- Advanced Precision diagnostics
- Targeted organ and brain-specific precursor stem cell and peptide therapies
- Mitochondrial medicine and hormonal balancing systems
- Advanced detoxification technologies
- Age-reversal and brain-health protocols
- Improving sleep disorders and transcranial stimulation
The visitors were given an overview of EW’s approach to degenerative, metabolic and neurodevelopmental disorders, while Prof. Chan led discussions on regional disease trends currently seen in the Middle East.
“Neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism and Chronic Diseases Are Rising Across the Gulf” — Prof. Chan
Prof. Chan noted that Gulf nations are facing a sharp increase in autism diagnoses, alongside surges in autoimmune disorders, metabolic disease, endocrine decline and age-related deterioration.
“Families are looking for solutions when conventional medicine reaches its limit,” he said. “Regenerative medicine provides organ-specific precision that symptom-based treatments cannot.”
He reiterated his established stance that stem-cell therapies with just one type of cell may not be sufficient for multi-system disorders in the body, where organ-&-brain-specific precursor (progenitor) stem cells are very much needed, and more so for parenchymal organ regeneration.
“Autism requires intestinal mucosa and brain-specific precursors. Alzheimer’s requires cells for the frontal lobe. Parkinson’s requires the substantia nigra,” he said. “One type of stem cell cannot treat every disease.”
The ambassadors, attending privately, listened to his explanations and discussed the health challenges faced by their respective communities.
Four of the Wealthiest Gulf States Signal Growing Interest
The visiting nations—UAE, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain—are among the highest GDP-per-capita economies in the GCC. All four have significantly expanded their investment in:
- Longevity and wellness programmes
- AI-enabled healthcare systems
- National medical innovation mandates
- Outbound medical travel for complex treatment
The private visit reflects a broader regional trend of increasing engagement with precision, regenerative and cell-based medicine, particularly for autism, neurodevelopmental conditions and chronic inflammatory disorders.
A Global Facility Preparing for Regional Demand
The Mont’Kiara center will join EW’s network of more than 40 clinical and research facilities across Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. The group’s protocols include:
- Organ-specific precursor stem cell therapy
- DDRR (Diagnose–Detox–Repair–Rejuvenate) medical framework
- Mitochondrial and peptide bioregulation
- Cellular detoxification
- Biological age reversal (6–18 years documented in many cases)
Prof. Chan, whose own biological age has measured 46 for the last three years despite being 64, said Asia and the Middle East will drive the next phase of global regenerative-medicine growth.
“The purchasing power is strong, and the medical need is real,” he said. “These regions will shape the future of healthspan medicine.”
Informal Visit with High Future Potential
The ambassadors expressed personal interest in the scientific explanations and the upcoming services EW Mont Kiara will provide.
The visit ended with an understanding that informal follow-up conversations may continue, particularly on neurodevelopmental autism care, neuroregeneration strategies, and advanced longevity interventions.
Prof. Chan described the meeting as constructive. “Our goal is simple: help every individual live longer, healthier, fitter, sharper, and with a higher quality of life,” he said.

Gulf ambassadors tour EW Mont’Kiara Center on an informal visit initiated after the UAE National Day celebration in Kuala Lumpur.

Prof. Mike Chan briefs Middle Eastern envoys on regional rises in autism and chronic disease.

The delegation examines EW’s diagnostic technologies designed for precision, organ-based medical intervention.

Ambassadors from Bahrain, UAE, Oman and Kuwait view EW’s organ-specific stem cell therapy suites.

The Gulf envoys observe EW’s mitochondrial and peptide repair systems for age-related decline.

Prof. Chan discusses emerging health challenges in the Middle East, including autism and metabolic disorders.

Ambassadors review EW’s DDRR (Diagnose-Detox-Repair-Rejuvenate) protocol, a four-step regenerative medical framework.

The private tour concludes with informal discussions on future collaboration in regenerative and neuro-health programs.
