INTERVIEW: Global Delegates Praise European Wellness Symposium

International doctors, investors, and healthcare leaders from Canada, Brazil, the Philippines, and Malaysia gathered at the Bio-Regenerative, Longevity & Aesthetics Case Studies Symposium (30–31 July 2026, European Wellness Academy, Kota Kinabalu), united by a shared vision of advancing regenerative medicine through precision science, collaboration, and better patient care.

KOTA KINABALU, Malaysia (July 31, 2026) — The Bio-Regenerative, Longevity & Aesthetics Case Studies Symposium continued to draw international attention as doctors, healthcare leaders, and wellness entrepreneurs from around the world shared how the event is reshaping their understanding of regenerative medicine and its clinical applications.

The gathering at the European Wellness Biomedical Group’s flagship center in Kota Kinabalu has brought together physicians, researchers, and healthcare innovators to explore the latest developments in precursor stem cells, peptide bioregulation, neuroregeneration, and precision longevity medicine. Building on the scientific sessions led by Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mike Chan and an international faculty, delegates said the symposium has offered not only cutting-edge science but also practical knowledge they intend to apply in their own countries.

From Personal Healing to a Bigger Vision

Among the most passionate participants was J. Kelly Sullivan, a Canadian investor, wellness visionary, and owner of Kokomo Botanical Resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Although not a medical doctor, Sullivan said his interest in regenerative medicine stems from firsthand experience.

“This is my second trip to Kota Kinabalu at the European Wellness Biomedical Group’s amazing center,” he said.

“I’m here for this Bio-Regenerative Longevity Conference because everything natural interests me. When you have the opportunity to learn firsthand how things can be done in non-invasive ways with no side effects, that’s something worth understanding.”

Sullivan recounted his visit in April, when he sought treatment for chronic knee pain caused by years of sporting activities.

“I couldn’t bend my knees because of the chronic pain and all the cartilage damage,” he recalled. “Dr. Glen gave me just one injection. The very next day, back in my hotel room, I tested my knees, and I could already feel the difference.”

Now, returning several months later, he says the improvement has continued.

“It was just one shot. One shot into both knees using the precursor stem cell treatment. Absolutely amazing.”

The experience, he explained, changed the way he thinks about regenerative medicine.

“In Chinese they say, from small things you can understand bigger things. If this can be done with one injection for my knees, then what about the rest of my body?”

His thoughts quickly turned to the body’s most important organ.

“What about my brain? That’s our control center—our CPU—for everything our body does.”

A Partnership Built in Months

Sullivan also reflected on his rapidly growing relationship with Prof. Mike Chan.

In less than eight months, he said, the two have already met five times across different countries.

“We first met at a forum last December through Dr. Eddie. From that very first meeting, everything just took off. It felt very natural.”

Since then, their meetings have spanned Jamaica, Malaysia, and the Caribbean.

“When Prof. Mike Chan came to Jamaica, we met again. Then I came here in April. Just a month and a half ago, he visited the Turks and Caicos Islands for the first time and had an excellent meeting with our Minister of Health. Now I’m back here again.”

Smiling, Sullivan summed up the relationship simply.

“That’s five meetings in about seven or eight months—and we’re only just getting started.”

Brazilian Doctor Deepens His Regenerative Medicine Journey

Returning to European Wellness for the second time was Dr. Jose Ebram from São Paulo, Brazil, who said his continuing education under Prof. Mike Chan has significantly expanded his understanding of regenerative medicine.

“This is my second time here in Malaysia and my second visit to European Wellness,” he said.

Dr. Ebram first met Prof. Chan last year and has since continued studying regenerative medicine with him and the European Wellness team.

“This conference has been great for me. I’m learning much more from all the doctors about peptides, exosomes, and progenitor stem cells. I’m very happy with everything I’m learning.”

His immediate goal during the symposium is practical knowledge that can directly benefit his patients.

“I want to learn more about progenitor stem cells and how they are used in treatment.”

He added that the opportunity to observe treatments firsthand has been invaluable.

“I also have two patients receiving treatment here, so I’m able to learn both from the scientific sessions and from the hands-on clinical experience.”

Bringing Cellular Medicine Back to the Philippines

Another returning delegate was Dr. Yvette Cristine, medical director and founder of Dermyvė Medical Aesthetics, an aesthetic and bioregenerative medicine practice located in the Philippines.

Having known Prof. Mike Chan for many years, she described the symposium as an opportunity to continue advancing both personally and professionally.

“I’ve known Professor Mike for a long time, and I’m very happy to be here again,” she said.

She credited European Wellness with helping broaden her understanding of regenerative medicine and cellular therapies.

“What I have learned here has added life to years—not just years to life.”

Dr. Yvette said the knowledge gained aligns closely with her own clinic’s philosophy.

“It fits perfectly with our clinic’s tagline: ‘Beauty at the Cellular Level.'”

She also expressed appreciation to Prof. Mike Chan and the European Wellness team for continuously sharing their research and clinical experience.

Turning Research Into Better Patient Care

For Dr. S. Thasarathan from Penang, Malaysia, the symposium represents far more than academic learning.

“This is my second time in Kota Kinabalu and my third symposium with Prof. Mike,” he said.

Each visit, he explained, introduces new scientific developments that can be translated directly into patient care.

“I’m always excited to see Prof. Mike because he has so much knowledge to share.”

Working in regenerative medicine and stem cell therapy, Dr. Thasarathan said the field continues to evolve rapidly.

“I’m learning many new things every single day.”

However, he stressed that the greatest value lies beyond acquiring new information.

“It’s not only about learning new things. It’s about discovering new ways to help my patients.”

He also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to continue learning alongside international experts.

“I’m truly thankful because this has allowed my dream not only to come true but to continue growing. I’m able to learn therapies that represent the highest level of current medical research.”

He concluded by describing the symposium as an opportunity to practice better medicine.

“It allows me to provide the highest level of medicine possible.”

Science With Global Impact

The interviews reflected a common message shared by delegates from different backgrounds and countries. While each participant arrived with different professional interests—from investment and wellness entrepreneurship to clinical medicine—they all highlighted the symposium’s emphasis on evidence-based regenerative medicine, practical case studies, and knowledge that can be translated into better patient outcomes.

For some, the value lay in experiencing regenerative therapies personally. For others, it was the opportunity to deepen their understanding of precursor stem cells, peptides, and precision cellular medicine.

Together, their experiences underscored the growing international interest in regenerative medicine as physicians, researchers, and healthcare leaders look beyond conventional approaches toward therapies designed to restore function at the cellular level.

As the symposium continues, delegates will participate in further scientific sessions, case discussions, and hands-on learning, reinforcing European Wellness’ role as an international hub for education, research, and collaboration in bioregenerative, longevity, and aesthetic medicine.
