Macau Hosts IvyWell Launch and Regenerative Medicine Summit with Prof. Mike Chan

MACAU, (Sept 22, 2025) – Macau played host to a glittering showcase of science and culture this week, as Prof. Mike Chan, chief scientist and founder of the European Wellness Biomedical Group (EWBG), addressed the Macau IvyWell Big Health Center Development Strategy Summit, held under the banner of the China Regenerative Medicine Global Medical Alliance.

The summit, officially named “中再生全球医疗联盟 澳门康美赞大健康中心发展峰会”, translates to “China Regenerative Medicine Global Medical Alliance – Macau IvyWell Big Health Center Development Strategy Summit.” Organized in conjunction with the IvyWell / CRMI Global Launch – Macau stop, the event underscored Macau’s growing role as a hub for the “Big Health Industry” (大健康产业) – a comprehensive sector spanning preventive medicine, wellness, healthcare innovation, and longevity science.

Prof. Chan, a pioneer in regenerative medicine with decades of experience in cellular therapies and longevity science, delivered an impassioned keynote:

“Health is not simply extending years, but extending vitality in those years. By combining advanced therapies with international cooperation, we can give people both longer life and better quality of life,” he told delegates.

The event blended scientific vision with star power, featuring Hong Kong film producer Charles Heung Wah-Keung, whose companies Win’s Entertainment and China Star Entertainment shaped the careers of Stephen Chow, Chow Yun-fat, Jet Li, Andy Lau and Johnnie To.
