Sabah FC Players Continue Recovery Sessions at European Wellness Ahead of Back-to-Back Matches

KOTA KINABALU, Sabah (October 28, 2025) — Sabah FC players returned to the European Wellness Premier Centre (EWPC) in Kota Kinabalu for their third round of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) sessions, conducted under the current partnership agreement between the club and European Wellness.
Players who underwent therapy included Dane Ingham, Daniel Ting, Dean Pelekanos, Stuart Wilkin, Miguel Cifuentes, Damien Lim, Jafri Chew, Fergus Tierney, Dominic Tan, Rawlinson Batuil, and Ajdin Mujagic.
Supervised by Dr. Natassia Sarah, the ongoing sessions are part of the club’s structured recovery plan aimed at enhancing performance, endurance, and overall wellness during their demanding competitive schedule.
With two matches scheduled within days — facing Kelantan The Real Warriors on October 29 and Selangor FC on November 1 — these back-to-back fixtures underscore the importance of maintaining peak recovery. HBOT has shown direct benefits for athletes by improving oxygen delivery, reducing fatigue, and supporting faster muscle recovery between games.
Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mike Chan, founder and Chairman of the European Wellness Biomedical Group, who was at the center to meet the team said:
“Our partnership with Sabah FC represents the bridge between science and sports performance. Since introducing hard cabin Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in the 1990s, European Wellness has remained at the forefront of regenerative medicine, helping athletes recover faster, perform better, and extend their professional longevity. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to athlete care through science-based innovation.”
Future collaborations between Sabah FC and European Wellness will further strengthen their partnership, uniting the pursuit of sports excellence with cutting-edge regenerative wellness solutions.
