A Year in Review: Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mike Chan Continues to Transcend Borders as KSI Advisor!

2023 has been another great year of success for European Wellness Chairman Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mike Chan, whose achievements in his capacity as an official Advisor of KSI (Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific) brought important discussions for health, wellness, and socio-economic solutions into the forefront!

Most notably in 2023, the scientist and visionary presented his insights and findings in two major events organised by KSI: the Malaysian Health and Wellness Summit (MHWS) and Global Chinese Economic & Technology Summit (GCET)!

In MHWS, Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mike Chan was invited alongside European Wellness Head of Medical Advisory Board Prof. Dr. Dmytro Klokol and Academic Board Advisor Dr. Bawani Nesamany to speak in front of a crowd of luminaries across many different fields in order to explore the trends, challenges, and possible solutions in the health and wellness industry post-pandemic. He also shared the stage alongside other dignitaries in the field, including Malaysian Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad and KSI President Tan Sri Michael Yeoh, as they presented several prestigious awards to some of the biggest players in the nation’s healthcare industry!

Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mike Chan’s impact was also felt at GCET 2023, a two-day congress that provided a massive platform for shaping international policies, forging strategic partnerships, and encouraging meaningful discourse. He was invited as an expert panellist, sharing his valuable insights on sustainable economic growth, medical wellness tourism, and the health and wellness industry as a whole. Notably, he was also the recipient of the “World Chinese Wellness Entrepreneurship Leadership Award” during the event, in recognition of his outstanding achievements and contributions to society! The event was a great success – drawing participation from some of the region’s top political leaders, including Penang Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak, Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah Yusof, Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, Shenzhen Municipal Mayor H.E. Qin Weizhong, KSI Chairman Tan Sri Majid Khan, KSI President Tan Sri Michael Yeoh, and many others!
